Steve Shoob
Steven Shoob – CFO, Prestige Employee Administrators, Inc. since 2010. Prior to Prestige, Steve held a number of executive positions including SVP & CFO of Bookspan, a joint venture between Time Warner Inc. and Bertelsmann, SVP, Strategic Planning, Bookspan; SVP & CFO, Doubleday Direct, including the management of key operational functions. Steve joined Doubleday in 1989, in his 18 year tenure managed sixteen different departments. Steve started as a financial analyst with General Foods in 1981 and in 1986 received the President’s Award for developing a purchasing model that incorporated complex volume/pricing contractual provisions related to the purchase of aspartame (Nutrasweet) affecting purchasing strategies that resulted in annual savings of $28 million. At both General Foods and Doubleday Steve has been involved in numerous M&A deals designed to support the strategic objectives of the businesses. Steve’s education includes: JD degree, Hofstra Law School; MBA, Accounting & Finance, Adelphi University School of Business (GPA 4.0, National Honor Society).
